Zuhaib S. Mahmood
I'm a rising fifth-year PhD student in Political Science at Michigan State University, studying international relations.
My methodological interests include text-as-data; predictive modeling; and computational social science.
My substantive interests include international conflict and cooperation, and particularly the international politics of civil wars.
I also have a theoretical interest in the politics of speech, including how and why states employ it, as well as the information that can be gleaned from it.
