I'm a fifth-year PhD student in Political Science at Michigan State University, studying international relations.
My methodological interests include text-as-data; predictive modeling; and computational social science.
My substantive interests include international conflict and cooperation, the international politics of civil wars, and diplomacy/communication between states. My dissertation looks at foreign policy speech at the UN, and in particular the information leaders can communicate and learn from such speech.
